October is Disability History and Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the strengths and contributions of individuals with disabilities. It offers an opportunity to emphasize disability history, raise awareness, and promote disability employment. Schools can use this month to foster understanding, accessibility, and support for all students

Mead School District is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its students at the 33rd Annual Spokane Scholars Foundation for Excellence Awards Celebration on April 21, 2025. This prestigious event honors the top scholars in the greater Spokane area across six academic categories, with each school nominating one student per category.
