Five Mile Secondary Programs provide a small school culture with a hybrid schedule offering flexibility for students and families. There is an emphasis on independent learning and self-advocacy with parental support. Certificated teachers provide instruction onsite 2 days a week and assign coursework for the remaining 3 days. Student success depends on this ongoing partnership between the school, students, and parents.

If we are on mission, our policies, programs, and practices at Mead Learning Options reflect a commitment to help all students learn at high levels. Students do their coursework with integrity, earn satisfactory progress and earn high school credits needed for graduation.
We operate under the authority of the State of Washington and the laws pursuant to an alternative learning experience (ALE, WAC 392-121-182). Our Mead Learning Options programs take our responsibility for helping students reach their learning goals and objectives very seriously.
