MLO Supply Lists

All students, grades K-12 will require the use of a district issued chromebook for the school year.

It is important to send your student with a water bottle and backpack with the student name clearly labeled. It is recommended in most classes to have at least one binder to organize class materials in grades 6-12.

Students should also bring 1 large binder or 2 medium binders with them each week to organize individual class materials. The following lists are suggested additional materials by grade or class:

MLO Grades K-5

  • Backpack, no wheels (student name clearly labeled)

  • Water bottle with tight sealing lid (student name clearly labeled) 

  • Personal headphones or earbuds (Grades 3-5 and K-2 during testing)

  • Baby Wipes (Optional)

3rd - 5th Grade Additional Supplies

  • Spiral Notebook (Single subject, 70 pages)

  • 1 package of notebook paper (wide or college ruled)

  • Personal headphones or earbuds (Optional)

  • Pencils + pencil pouch or box

MLO Grades 6 - 8 Students

  • All middle school students should have a medium sized binder with 5 dividers
  • Optional Donations: Tissues, Clorox/Baby Wipes
Specific materials by class are listed below:

Math 6-8 

  • Pencil

  • Graph paper

  • Lined paper

  • Scientific calculator (strongly prefer TI-30 XIIS) 

Science 6-8 

  • Pencil

  • Lined Paper (College rule)

  • 1 pack of colored pencils (Optional - Nice to have for science)

  • Calculator (same one used for math is fine)

  • Scissors, glue and ruler for use at home on coursework

 English 6-8

  • Pencil

  • 3x5 notecards (3 pack)

  • 2 large packages of college-ruled notebook paper 

  • 1 super-stack pack of sticky notes

  • 1 composition book

  • Crayons or colored pens or pencils for class projects (Optional - nice to have your own)

Social Studies/History 6-8

  • Pencil

  • 1 composition book

  • Scissors, glue, notebook paper and ruler for use at home on coursework

MLO Grades 9 - 11 Students

Students should bring 1 large binder or 2 medium binders with them each week to organize class materials. 

High School Math Classes

  • Pencil or erasable pen

  • Three different colored highlighters

  • Scientific calculator (strongly prefer TI-30 XIIS)

High School Science Classes

  • Pencil

  • Colored Pencils

  • Scientific Calculator 

  • 3x5 notecards (1 pack)

  • College-ruled notebook paper 

High School English Classes

  • 3x5 notecards (1 pack)

  • Colored pens or pencils for class projects (Optional - Provided by school but nice to have your own)

High School History Classes

  • Pencils

  • 2 colors of pens (one for correcting)

  • Highlighters (at least 3 colors)

  • 3x5 notecards (2 packs)

  • 2 large packages of notebook paper (college-ruled)

  • Colored pens or pencils for class projects (Optional - Provided by school but nice to have your own)

  • Headphones or earbuds (Optional)

Mead Outdoor School (Grades K-8)

  • Full size backpack
  • Separate waterproof chromebook carry case
  • Water bottle with tight sealing lid
  • Personal headphones/earbuds (for testing days)
  • Appropriate outside attire (see Google Classroom for more)
  • Gallon size zip-lock baggie for school lunch garbage (to take home)
  • Grade level teachers will have additional items (see Google Classroom for more)
