We are so excited you have joined our Mead Learning Options community! Here is some additional information for families who have chosen one of our programs. Below you'll find some important information about our individual programs such as parking, class hours, lunch orders, and weekly requirements.
Some of the information below is MLO wide, and other pieces of information are program specific. If you have questions, please contact the MLO office at 509-465-7700.
School Hours
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Mondays - Thursdays, some courses or programs may also have hours on Fridays.Lunch Orders
Lunches must be ordered by 9 a.m. in the office. If you know your child will be arriving late and will need a lunch ordered, please contact the office at 509-465-7700 before 10 a.m. that morning.

Weekly Alternative Contact (Absentees)Each model within our MLO programs has various methods for ensuring two-way communication between students and certificated teachers when students are absent.
If your child is absent, please make sure he/she is making alternative contact with a certificated teacher, mentor or advisor each week he/she is absent. Some examples of weekly alternative contact options are listed below:
Option 1: Complete the Weekly Contact Form and/or email classroom teacher outlining what you have been learning during the week. This should be written by the student. (May be typed by parent for younger students.)
Option 2: Complete at least 30 minutes in one of the online learning programs that shows progress to the teacher including iXL.com, SplashLearn, or Google Classroom assigned work.
Option 3: Send a detailed email message to your teacher, mentor or advisor explaining what has been completed for learning during the week. This does need to be written by the student (with assistance from the parent if child is grades K-2).
